Mammoth Mountain Environment

Mammoth Mountain Ski Area's Department of Environmental Programs was established in 2000 to help ensure realization of the goal of sustainability. To be sustainable, MMSA aims to simultaneously fulfill environmental responsibilities, economic requirements, and social needs.

According to Rusty Gregory, CEO of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, "We are stewards of the public lands entrusted to our care, and are mindful of the limits of the ecosystem that we share with our community and the world. The goal is sustainability."

Mammoth Mountain publishes the following Environmental Policy Statement;
